“I like to focus on expressing emotions - each of my paintings starts off with an idea of a specific feeling that I want to portray, quite often a reflection of my own current mood. Even though I always use familiar TV characters, they are only used as a medium and I want the viewer to be captured by the dominant emotion even if they are not familiar with the backstory.”
